Stick Built or Panelization
Stick Built Framing
Our projects are primarily stick framed using pre-cut stud and track. This allows are framers to adjust to irregularities in concrete walls (CMU) and often concrete plank decking (PT or hollow core). We are able to maximize our time on site with various crews performing different tasks simultaneously.
CFS Panelization
STEELMAX does offer the option to have your walls preassembled in one of our manufacturing facilities prior to delivery to the project site. This does decrease the framing time for our crews but only when the concrete measurements have been site checked for deflection prior to panel production. Shipping is more that shipping stick material so these are all things to consider when looking into a paneled system.
Joist and\or Truss Installation
Regardless if your project calls out for C-Joist, open web trusses or bar Joists we have you covered. All floor system components are site measured before production and then are shipped with the corresponding wall components. This allows our framers to not skip a beat when going vertical on a project. This combined with our decking alternatives (composite metal, MGO or fiber cement) can reduce framing time by 20% or more.
